GGD-type AC low-voltage switchgear is suitable for AC frequency 50Hz, rated operating voltage 380V, and rated operating current up to 3150A power distribution systems required by power users such as power plants, substations, and factories and mines. It is used for power, lighting, and power distribution equipment energy conversion, distribution, and control, and can be used as a substitute for fixed low-voltage complete switchgear.
This switchgear complies with IEC60439-1 "Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear" and GB7251.1 "Low-voltage switchgear and controlgear Part 1: Type tests and partial type tests of assembled equipment" standards.
1. Altitude not exceeding 2000m;
2. Ambient air temperature not higher than +40℃, not lower than -5℃, and the average temperature within 24 hours not higher than +35℃;
3. Ambient air relative humidity not exceeding 50% at the highest temperature of +40℃, and a higher relative humidity is allowed at lower temperatures (e.g., 90% at +20℃). The phenomenon of occasional condensation due to temperature changes should be considered;
4. The inclination to the vertical plane during installation does not exceed 5℃;
5. Installed in places without violent vibration and impact, and places where electrical components are not corroded;
6. For special requirements, users can consult with the manufacturer.
Product Features
The GGD-type AC low-voltage fixed switchgear is a new type of low-voltage switchgear designed based on the requirements of the superior authorities of the Ministry of Energy, a large number of power users, and design departments, following the principles of safety, economy, rationality, and reliability. This product has high breaking capacity, good dynamic and thermal stability, flexible electrical schemes, convenient combination, strong series and practicality, novel structure, high protection level, etc., and can be used as a substitute for low-voltage complete switchgear. This product is one of the representative products of China's assembled fixed panel switchgear.
Structural Features
● The cabinet body of the GGD-type AC low-voltage switchgear adopts a general cabinet form, and the frame is assembled by local welding of 8MF cold-bent steel. The frame parts and special matching parts are supplied by the designated steel production plant to ensure the accuracy and quality of the cabinet.
● When designing the GGD cabinet, the heat dissipation problem during the operation of the cabinet is fully considered. There are different numbers of heat dissipation slots at the top and bottom of the cabinet. When the electrical components in the cabinet generate heat, the heat rises and is discharged through the upper slots, while cold air continuously replenishes the cabinet from the lower slots, forming a natural ventilation channel from bottom to top in the sealed cabinet to achieve heat dissipation.
● The GGD cabinet adopts the golden ratio method to design the cabinet shape and the division size of each part according to the requirements of modern industrial product styling design, making the whole cabinet beautiful and generous, and refreshing.
● The cabinet door is connected to the frame with a pivot-type hinged joint, making installation and removal convenient. A mountain-shaped rubber and plastic strip is embedded at the folded edge of the door. When the door is closed, the embedded strip between the door and the frame has a certain compression stroke, which can prevent the door from directly colliding with the cabinet body and also improves the protection level of the door.
● The instrument door with electrical components is connected to the frame with multi-strand soft copper wires. The installation parts inside the cabinet are connected to the frame with knurled screws, and the entire cabinet forms a complete grounding protection circuit.
● The cabinet surface paint uses polyester orange baking paint, which has strong adhesion and good texture. The whole cabinet is matte, avoiding glare and creating a more comfortable visual environment for the duty personnel.
● The top cover of the cabinet can be removed when needed, which facilitates the assembly and adjustment of the main busbar on site. There are lifting rings at the four corners of the cabinet top for lifting and transportation.
Compliant Standards
This product is a combination switchgear that has undergone type testing by a nationally designated testing institution. It complies with IEC493-1:1992 and GB7251.1-1997 standards.

GGD-type low-voltage withdrawable switchgear is suitable for AC 50(60)Hz, rated insulation voltage and operating voltage of 380(400), 660V, rated current of 3150A and below three-phase five-wire power supply systems. It can be used for power users such as power plants, substations, industrial and mining enterprises, large buildings, hotels, airports, and docks for power generation, transmission and distribution, energy conversion, and control.
