On September 7, 2024, the Second High-Quality Development Forum on Intelligent Rail Transit and the 2024 Rail Transit Annual Meeting, hosted by the Intelligent Branch of the China Association of Surveying and Design, guided by China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., and jointly organized by China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group Co., Ltd. and China Railway Fifth Survey and Design Institute Group Co., Ltd., was successfully held in Chengdu.

The theme of this forum was "Safe, Efficient, Green, Intelligent, and High-Quality Development of Rail Transit Power Systems." It aimed to implement the guiding principles of documents such as the "National Quality Development Outline," the "National Transportation Development Outline," and the "Overall Planning for the Construction of Digital China," to improve the construction quality of rail transit, accelerate the development of new productivity, build a new pattern for the development of intelligent rail transit, and promote the safe, efficient, green, intelligent, and high-quality development of power systems in the railway and rail transit industries. 

This forum invited industry experts from the China Association of Surveying and Design, the National Railway Group, operating units, construction units, design units, scientific research institutions, construction units, and suppliers to participate. People from all over the country gathered in Chengdu for face-to-face exchanges, jointly discussing and researching ways to promote the high-quality development of rail transit.
